People-focused
The Paddington Integrated Project is all about improving the passenger experience at one of London’s busiest mainline stations. As a result of our work to streamline connections to and through the station, Paddington is much easier for people to navigate and move around, whether they are travelling by rail, underground, bus, taxi or on foot.
Inventive
Throughout the project we kept an eye on the future. By moving the taxi rank, for instance, we created a safer and more logical station layout, and cleared the way for the new Elizabeth Line station. Paddington may be a Grade I listed icon of Victorian railway engineering, but is also fit for the 21st century.
The project is a major example of how a skilled architectural team can overcome challenges to deliver a significant work of architectural infrastructure.

Responsible
Paddington is the second most used station in Britain, with almost 60 million entries and exits every year. Our work to improve connections and usability at Paddington is part of a bigger picture to encourage more public transport use in London – taking private cars off the road and reducing the carbon footprint of transport in the city.
