WW+P announces rebrand and change in leadership
Weston Williamson + Partners has rebranded as WW+P Architects and announced its change in leadership, platforming the future generations within the practice.
WW+P implemented its succession plan after becoming part of the Egis Architecture Line in 2022. Ali Mowahed, who first joined the practice in 2010, is appointed as the new CEO, replacing Rob Naybour who is assuming the role of Chair after serving as CEO since 2022.
Ali has played a crucial role in WW+P’s recent success, having held a leadership position with WW+P between 2010 and 2018 before returning to the practice in 2022 as Global Head of Strategic Growth. A chartered member of the RIBA with over 19 years' professional experience in the delivery of transport infrastructure and urban regeneration projects, Ali has led multi-disciplinary design and construction teams on nationally significant infrastructure projects in Europe, the Middle East, Asia and Australia.
Rob Naybour moves to Chair to steward global design quality for WW+P. Rob has a track record of leading large urban infrastructure projects and delivering high-quality, award-winning design. He was the Project Partner for several major London Elizabeth Line projects and was instrumental in setting up WW+P studios in Australia, Toronto and Manchester, as well as leading the architectural design of the winning Melbourne Metro proposal, the $14bn city changing project currently nearing completion.
Earlier this year, Chris Williamson, an original founder of the practice, stepped up from WW+P to become a Global Ambassador to the Egis Architecture Line. Following his recent success in the RIBA Presidential elections Chris will assume the role of RIBA President for the 2025-2027 term, beginning in September 2025.

We’ve put a lot of thought into establishing the new structure of the practice and planning the next phase of our growth as a truly global business. It’s a very exciting time for WW+P and I’m honoured to be at the forefront of it. I’m incredibly proud of our heritage and the reputation for design quality and technical excellence that the founding partners have established, with the new brand reflecting the fact that we’re now an international design practice and enabling us to focus on the future.
Ali Mowahed, CEO

The rebrand and leadership change allows us to draw on our legacy and further develop ourselves as a leading global design practice. Since joining the practice over 20 years ago I’ve seen it grow through enormous collaborative effort embodying a diverse range of skills and thought. The WW+P name reflects that collective ownership. Ali brings a unique combination of broad global industry experience together with an intimate knowledge of WW+P’s values and culture. He is the ideal person to lead the practice through this exciting next phase.
Rob Naybour, Chair
