Waterloo International Terminal transformation shortlisted for NLA award
We are delighted that our work transforming Waterloo International Terminal has been shortlisted for the Moving category in this year’s New London Architecture Awards.
The annual awards seek projects which demonstrate the positive impact high-quality design, planning and construction can have on people, neighbourhoods and the city. A prestigious international jury of architecture and urban design experts, advised by a team of London-based sector expert assessors, select the shortlisted and winning projects from across the 13 different categories.
The Waterloo Station project integrated the 5 platforms of the old Eurostar Terminal with 19 other operational platforms in the station. It was delivered through an innovative alliance model, with the clients Network Rail and LCR working alongside the engineers, AECOM and Mott MacDonald, and architects, WW+P.
You can vote for this project in the People’s Choice Award until the November 1, and the winner will be announced on November 26.
