Barking Riverside and Paddington finalists at Architects Journal Awards
The 2023 AJ Awards shortlist has been announced and we are very proud to be part of the awards with two projects. We are finalists with Barking Riverside Station and Paddington Elizabeth Line Station, both in the Infrastructure and Transport Project category.
Paddington Elizabeth Line station successfully balances the complexities of designing adjacent to a Grade I listed structure with the delivery of a modern elegant new station.
Heritage, conservation, transport integration, way-finding, servicing and security were all carefully considered in the creation of a world-class pedestrian space.
Our Barking Riverside station in a new town square serves as a beacon for the latest London destination of up to 10,800 homes, healthcare, shopping and leisure facilities. Step-free access and inclusive design is achieved throughout.
