Ru Quan Phuah

Ru Quan joined our London Studio as a Part II Architectural Assistant. He graduated from University of Bath in July 2022, where he and his groupmates reimagined Cardiff’s economy built on sustainable energy with the construction of Seven Barrage. Their masterplan’s ethos is carried forward into his design proposal for a Film School in the deprived area of Cardiff Bay, using education as a social mobility tool, to nurture a diverse pool of future storytellers. He is also a certified Passive House Designer. He believes that well-designed spaces and equal access to quality education to be the key to positive change in society.
