Gesine Junker

Gesine is the head of masterplanning for domestic and international projects within WW+P’s infrastructure sector. As a town planner with an architectural background, she has a wealth of experience in masterplanning projects, public realm design and policy development.
She has significant project experience in the development of masterplans and integration of movement infrastructure, such as stations, mass transit lines and bridges within the urban context. In this sector, she advises both on a strategic masterplanning scale and over-site development, as well as local place making and public realm design, making her a specialist in Transport Oriented Development.
Gesine has worked both in the private and public sectors, including central government in the UK, giving her excellent insight into varying client requirements, objectives, and governance. She is a member of the Merton Design Review Panel.
In her spare time, Gesine enjoys triathlon, representing Germany at her age-group.
