As CEO Ali leads WW+P globally, and is responsible for practice performance, business planning, financial operations, design quality, and standards of client service. He heads up a team of Managing Directors that are responsible for our studios in Europe, the Middle East, Asia, Australia and North America.
A chartered member of the RIBA with over 20 years' professional experience in the delivery of transport infrastructure and urban regeneration projects, Ali has led multi-disciplinary design and construction teams on nationally significant infrastructure projects in the UK, Middle East, Australia and Asia, affording him a detailed understanding of international best practice in in the design and delivery transport-oriented design. Ali combines a professional and conscientious approach to work with a detailed understanding of architecture and the built environment, and is passionate about projects that deliver sustainable, intelligent and engaging outcomes for the places and people they serve.
Ali has held a number of executive management positions in global businesses over the past two decades and is a member of both the WW+P Board and Egis’ Architecture Line Board. He held a leadership position with WW+P between 2010 and 2018 before returning to the practice in 2022 as Global Head of Strategic Growth.
