Adam is a Chartered Architect and Transit Lead for the West Coast, with extensive experience leading major transport and infrastructure programmes across the UK. He has delivered projects for organisations including Network Rail, HS2 Ltd, Crossrail, Manchester Airports Group and London Overground, building a strong reputation for design leadership, stakeholder engagement and delivery within complex operational environments.
Previously setting up the WW+P Manchester Studio, Adam now leads transit sector growth and project delivery across the West Coast region, overseeing multidisciplinary teams on rail, aviation and urban mobility schemes. His experience spans the full project lifecycle, from strategic planning and business case development through to technical delivery and construction.
Adam is particularly recognised for shaping high-quality passenger environments that balance operational performance, commercial drivers and placemaking ambitions. He is a strong communicator and trusted client lead, with significant experience coordinating consultants, contractors, operators and public sector stakeholders on complex infrastructure programmes.
Alongside project delivery, Adam contributes to wider industry thinking on the future of transport infrastructure. His article “The CAV Challenge”, published in Buses Magazine, explored the role of passenger experience in the future of autonomous transport. His work on the Trans-Britain Railway proposal (integrating HS2 and Northern Powerhouse Rail ambitions) and thought pieces on the Manchester underground were featured in New Civil Engineer and the rail industry press.
